Grant is an extremely focused and results driven individual with an extensive business background working closely with many small businesses as well as some of Australia’s larger corporations. He has excellent communication skills and his singular priority is to assist you to achieve your lifestyle and business goals. A real people person, his enormous enthusiasm will be obvious to you from your first meeting and it never stops.
His passion for assisting small businesses improve their performance has evolved over many years both as a small business owner himself and when he worked with other small business owners in various capacities such as business development consultant, coach and business broker. It was during these times even though the businesses he was associated with were generally providing their owners with a reasonable income and an acceptable lifestyle that he clearly saw how much more they really could achieve with the application of further knowledge, a greater focus and a more structured approach.
His early background was in the engineering and construction field where he learnt the importance of planning, good design, the disciplined use of systems and project management. Grant believes that to truly thrive and flourish a small business should act like a big business and this is where he has found that his previous larger corporate experience is invaluable to the average small business owner who is often not experienced in these areas.
He sure knows how to sell with a very successful career of over 20 yrs in the IT industry selling both simple and complex systems. He has been involved in sales to small businesses from as little as $30 up to his largest sale of just over $9.0 million to a large corporate entity.
With over 43 years of hard won business experience Grant relishes his opportunity to put something back into small businesses and to steer them to successful outcomes avoiding all the pitfalls that he knows are waiting for the unwary small business owner. Whilst he has had many successful achievements during his career not everything worked well for him and these specific situations provided the greatest learning’s for him he says. He is committed to assisting you avoid the pitfalls that he knows are waiting to trap the unwary small business owner.
